YOUNG  ADULT PILGRIMAGE TO TAIZE

As part of the Year of Evangelisation, the Diocesan Council for Mission and the Office of Evangelisation are organising an Ecumenical Young Adult Pilgrimage to Taize from 11th - 18th July 2010. Young adults are invited to join over two thousand other young Christians from around the world who come to this ecumenical monastery in Burgundy, France every week during the summer to experience the prayer and fellowship of the community founded by Brother Roger. Archbishop Diarmuid Martin and Archdeacon Richard Rountree will be taking part. The cost for return flights, coach transfers and a contribution to the Taize community for meals and accommodation is €440. Forms have been sent to college and school chaplains and more information and forms are available from derekneilson@eircom.net or by ringing Derek Neilson on (01) 2818118.
